  • FORGED offers several mental performance training programs designed to help athletes strengthen confidence, focus, and resilience.

    FORGED Foundation Program
    Our core 6-week program that lays the groundwork for mental performance training. Athletes learn foundational mindset skills they can apply in practice and competition.

    FORGED Edge Training
    Individual or small group sessions designed for athletes who want to sharpen specific areas of their mental game or continue building on the skills introduced in the Foundation program.

    FORGED Academy for Teams
    Mental performance training designed for middle and high school teams. Athletes and coaches learn shared mindset strategies that strengthen confidence, communication, and team culture.

    Most athletes begin with the FORGED Foundation Program before progressing to Edge training for continued development, however it is not required.

  • Training with FORGED is easy. You can get started in one of three ways:

  • FORGED focuses on helping athletes develop both a stronger mindset and a healthier relationship with their sport. While many programs focus only on performance, FORGED emphasizes confidence, resilience, and long-term athlete development.

    Training is designed specifically for middle and high school athletes, using practical tools they can apply immediately in practices and competition. The goal is not just to improve performance, but to help athletes grow into confident competitors who can handle pressure, setbacks, and challenges both in sport and in life.

  • Training sessions can be scheduled by emailing FORGED once payment is received. Should you have questions, click on any of the “Let’s Connect” buttons on the site or email shelley@theforgedmindset.com.

  • FORGED offers pricing based on the training format. Athletes may participate in 1:1 training, small group sessions, or team training through the FORGED Academy. The FORGED Foundation Program is offered as a structured 6-week program, while FORGED Edge Training is available as ongoing, on-demand support. Both the FORGED Foundation Program and Edge Sessions can be completed as an individual or i small group sessions.

    Team training is priced based on team size and the scope of the program.

  • Working with FORGED is supportive, structured, and focused on helping athletes grow with confidence. Sessions combine conversation, practical exercises, and real-world strategies that athletes can immediately apply in practices and competition.

    Athletes are encouraged to reflect on their experiences, develop new mental skills, and build tools for handling pressure, setbacks, and challenges. The goal is to create an environment where athletes feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to strengthen both their performance and their relationship with their sport.

  • Payment is due upon scheduling training session and a link will be sent to you. All major payment forms are accepted.

    If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited.

    If FORGED needs to reschedule a session, an alternative time will always be offered.

  • Mental performance training focuses on helping athletes develop the skills needed to perform at their best. At FORGED, athletes learn practical strategies to build confidence, improve focus, manage pressure, and respond effectively to challenges in practice and competition.

    Sports psychology and therapy often focus on clinical or mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, or other psychological challenges. While there can be overlap in topics like confidence and stress management, mental performance training is centered on skill development and performance growth, not clinical treatment.

    If an athlete ever needs support beyond performance training, we encourage families to seek guidance from a licensed mental health professional.

  • Both FORGED Foundation Program sessions and FORGED Edge training sessions can last up to 45 minutes and are conducted virtually over Zoom.

    FORGED Academy for Teams sessions are 45 minutes- 1 hour and can be conducted in-person or virtually.
